Our volunteers are an integral component of our festival success and act as our festival ambassadors, connecting with attendees and making the overall festival experience one to remember!
Volunteers also help create a clean, environmentally friendly, organized, safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for all.
Volunteers can earn a FREE festival pass by working the required number of shifts – with plenty of time to still enjoy the festival!
Pre-Festival Volunteers
Get in early and help us build the dream.
Pre-festival volunteers assist with site prep, setup, and early operations before the gates open.
- Limited positions available.
- Schedule: Friday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Perks: Earn a 2-Day Festival Pass plus eligibility for onsite camping Friday–Monday.
Festival Volunteers
This is our biggest crew and the heartbeat of Baygrass. Festival volunteers support guest services, bars, merchandise, gates, stages, and more.
- Approx. 500 volunteer slots available
- Shifts: 4 hours each
- Commitment: One shift per day of attendance
- Perks: Earn festival admission for each day you volunteer
Closing Shift Perks
Festival volunteers who select a closing shift (7:30 PM–11:30 PM) may choose one of the following bonus perks:
- Onsite camping
- A $25 merchandise voucher
- A single-day ticket to Baygrass 2027
Post-Festival Volunteers
Not ready to say goodbye just yet? Help us wrap it all up. Post-festival volunteers assist with breakdown, load-out, and site restoration after the festival ends.

- Schedule: Monday, 10:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Perks: Earn a 2-Day Festival Pass plus eligibility for onsite camping Friday–Monday
Volunteer Application Process
Our volunteer program has a few moving pieces, so here’s what to expect once you apply:
- Applications are open now and will remain open throughout July and August
- Beginning now, we’ll review applications on a rolling basis and send weekly volunteer offers to selected applicants
- That offer email will include a registration link, which must be completed in order to officially join the volunteer team
- In August, we’ll begin building schedules for registered volunteers
We may reach out with follow-up questions if we need clarification on your availability, preferences, or experience - Final volunteer schedules will be sent no later than September 12
We know waiting on schedules isn’t the most glamorous part of volunteering, and we appreciate your patience while we build the best possible team for festival weekend.
Our goal is to make sure every volunteer is placed thoughtfully, supported well, and set up for a great Baygrass experience from the moment they arrive.

JOIN THE BLACKSPY STREET TEAM
Our Street Team operates all over the country – regardless of where you live, you may be eligible to join the Baygrass Street Team, run by Blackspy Marketing.
Street teamers can earn Baygrass passes, or passes to local events in your area, as well as other perks.
