SATURDAY

11:15 – 12:45: Ribbon dancers:
Create your own ribbon dancer to twirl and dance the day away!
1:00 – 1:45: Sand art
Join us in making the sand by the bay into your own unique sandy masterpiece!
2:30 – 4:00: Paper Plate Oceans
Create an undersea world of your own full of ocean creatures!
4:30 – 5:45: Sailing Shoes Boats
Put on your sailing shoes and make your way over for young captains to make their own boat!
6:00 – 7:00: BUBBLE PARTY!

SUNDAY

11:15 – 12:45: Bubble wrap jellyfish and octopus
Pop by and utilize recycled bubble wrap to make some jellyfish and octopus prints!
12:45 – 1:45: Clay Creation
Sculpt your own coastal treasures to take home!
2:30 – 4:00: Recycled Materials Sea Creatures
Turn trash to treasure and create your own fun sea creature to take home!
4:15 – 5:00: Nature Resist Tie Dye
Use pieces of nature and spray bottles to create your own tie-dye print onto recycled material.
6:00 – 7:00: BUBBLE PARTY!

3:30 – 4:30: Little Fiddle Workshop

Led by IBMA-nominated performer and educator Sarah Larsen, a local Annapolis-area violin and fiddle teacher, students will learn the very first building blocks of fiddling: how to comfortably hold the instrument, make a proper bow grip, draw the bow across the strings, and start making music right away. By the end of the workshop, we’ll put those new skills together and learn the classic fiddle tune “Boil ’Em Cabbage Down.”

No experience is necessary, and fiddles will be provided. Just bring your curiosity and get ready to make some music!  (For kids age 8-13)

Annapolis Baygrass KidZone

With games, activities, crafts and workshops in the KidZone, your family will have a blast. Plus, did we mention there’s a cool beach?! (no lifeguard on duty – so make sure the little ones are accompanied at all times).

Since Baygrass is located in the pristine Sandy Point State Park, families benefit from permanent, clean bathrooms, showers and changing rooms to accommodate you and your family for the entire day and night.

Pack the wagon, grab the kiddos, and get ready for a weekend the entire family will cherish.

Kidz Games & Activities

The festival grounds are loaded with games for the whole family. 

Play ping pong or cornhole while listening to your favorite jams, or take a break from dancing to toss the frisbee on the beach.  There’s plenty at Baygrass to keep everyone active and involved all day long!

Crafts and Workshops

The KidZone has plenty of crafts and art opportunities to occupy kids of all ages.  Plus, our workshop schedule features educational and musical activities tailored just for young music fans.
